About Us
Updated: Dec 30, 2021

What is the Midwest Writers Guild about? Well we're about helping you, the writer. We want you to be the best you can be. We participate in several events throughout the year, the biggest being the annual Writers Guild Literary Journal and the Franklin Street Bazaar.
Ideally, being a member means you can come to the monthly meetings at Your Brother's Bookstore (504 Main Street, Evansville, Indiana 47708), but if you can't, then you can still be part of the anthology as long as you pay your dues.
Dues are $30 a year for adults and $10 a year for those 18 years old and under.
You do NOT have to pay dues to attend the meetings. We love to have prospective members check out a few meetings before making a decision about officially joining.
We look forward to meeting you and reading your work. Showcases of individual members will be posted periodically, so keep an eye out.
More information to come as the website expands. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr.
